Press Release: ‘15 x 15’ Artists/Designers raise money for World Vision Children!

"Press Release: ‘15 x 15’ Artists/Designers raise money for World Vision Children!

"Artist/ Designer, Yvonne Watson has organised a Sale of Art. The exhibition ‘15 x 15’ sees over 100 original artworks donated for sale by Yvonne and her friends and colleagues across the region and beyond! Each piece is 15cm by 15cm and goes on sale at £15 unframed or £25 framed

"The Sale kicks off with an auction of some pieces from more prominent artists, including Sokari Douglas Camp, Michael Forbes, Keith Piper, Said Ardus & Mik Godley etc from 4pm – 5pm on Saturday 26th July at the New Art Exchange, Gregory Boulevard, Hyson Green, Nottingham.

"Directly opposite the Forest tram stop, it’s a beautiful new venue in Nottingham and there will be live entertainment, refreshments and the chance to see what the centre has to offer at this free sneak preview! Call Pam Ramsay on: 0115 924 8630 for further information

"Yvonne, who comes from Nottingham and heads up the Fashion and Textile Dept at The University of Northampton says, “It’s a rare chance to get a wonderful piece of artwork at a really great price and support a worthy cause. The World Vision sponsorship programme is so important. It’s a real opportunity to personally reach out and connect with a child and their community and follow their progress as they overcome incredible hardships and build for the future in communities across the developing world”

"If you are an Artist or a Designer, there’s still time to contribute, contact Yvonne at: Yvonnewatson10@googlemail.com
or Michael Forbes, at: michael.forbes@thenewartexchange.org.uk for further information."
