- Vincent McGrath is a designer maker from Nottinghamshire with over 15 years work experience in the stone masonry and granite trade, graduating with a BA Hons degree in Industrial Design in 2002.
By combining both disciplines, Vincent has realised his long-term ambition to bridge the gap between sculpture and functional commercial products. He therefore creates innovative granite sculpture and functional granite sculpture, furniture and lighting for interior and outdoor protects to indulge the design conscious person.
Vincent’s company, 1-Limited Edition provides unique one-off pieces of granite art from a select choice of high quality materials, emphasizing the use of natural resources and reclaimed stone (granite) that will last a lifetime thus providing an environmentally friendly and sustainable product. Specialising in rough and smooth textured work, Vincent’s wide product range includes CD storage, clocks, lighting, coffee tables, mirrors, business card holders, garden sculpture and much more.
1-Limited Edition works closely with clients to help understand their requirements. As the company name suggests, each product is only made as a limited edition, thus creating a unique piece for each customer.
Vincent’s work is in many galleries across the UK. Public and private commissions are available upon request.

- His fascination with constructing and inventing from a young age together with the love of nature, wildlife. Also enjoying drawing and painting but creating 3d work inspired me and later being introduced to the world of stone “Granite” rock by my father fuelled me to explore this beautiful material how it is formed its characteristics and how it can be used in design today. When I am work with it I feel a connection with the land and ocean there is an energy I can’t explain.
